The truly unique, perfect, personalised gift.

Happy Birthday Acrostic for my Husband.

H ip Hip Hooray for your birthday dear Mick,
A t 4 decades old – you may feel no spring chick.
P reviously saying in bed you’d spend all day – party pooper,
P laying CD’s like: Zappa, New York Dolls, Alice Cooper.
Y et now off to Amsterdam this weekend we will sail,

F or a celebration and party from which fun cannot fail,
O n a P & O booze cruise across the North Sea
R eplenishing our stocks from the great Duty Free!
T alented, handsome and full of fun too,
I ngenious designer engineer – that is you.
E nveloping your work with perfection and pride,
T ravelling to factories and sites far and wide.
H appy to help those who are left in a muddle,

T rying to leave work on time, to get home for a cuddle.
O pportunist at phoning up radio competitions,

M arvelling at the sound of the ‘Hallamster’s’ renditions.
Y ou especially like puzzles, at Sudoku you’re king,

D eciphering word problems is another favourite thing.
A t crosswords you’re skilful and seldom get stuck,
R ecalling amazing facts – or perhaps it’s just luck!
L istening to music of various styles,
I ncreasing your downloaded covers in files.
N ever complaining at listening to my kind of song,
G iving encouragement to me as I warble along!

H appy to strum and learn songs on guitar,
U nderstanding new chords and the beats in a bar.
S inging along to favourite melodies,
B uying new products from E-bay with ease.
A former disaster case for following directions,
N ow with TOMTOM you’ll come to the rightful connections.
D etours and new routes will be easy as pie,

L earning of short cuts, and restaurants and attractions nearby.
O h Mick, you’re the most important thing in my life,
V ery honoured and proud, I stand up as your wife,
E xpectations – who knows what the future will hold?

F amily? New horizons? Memories of old?
R ight now, however, let’s just simply say,
O n this date 07/11 – it’s a most special day.
M y husband, my best friend and true soul mate too,

M ick - I wish the happiest birthday ever for you.
E xpect fun and laughter, for good times will be rife,
L ove you lots, ‘Happy 40th!’ from me – your loving wife.
